The nr 19 Lister had a steering pump problem after a collision in the warm-up and does not take the start. The team is working on it.

Start - Everything OK at the first corner, Hezemans leads round the first lap, followed by Gollin, with the nr 9 JMB Racing Ferrari 575 M Maranello cars up to fourth

 Good start from the nr 74 Eurotech Porsche. The nr 89 TMC Ferrari is ahead of the nr 88 car, which had started from 2nd on the grid.
Lap 4 Hezemans, in the nr 5 Force One Viper, now has a lead of 1.039 seconds over the nr 22 BMS Ferrari.  The nr 2 Saleen has recovered to 22nd position.
 Gollin is the fastest on the track with a 1:37.786
