Alfa Romeo will return to Macau next
month with two Alfa 147's.
The
Alfa Romeo 147 Superproduction
cars, built by N.Technology and run by Autodelta, will be driven by local
drivers Andre Couto, who has this year driven a Honda in the ETCC, and Filipine
Angelo Barreto. Last year, when started 38 cars started the race, Nicola Larini,
against more powerful opposition, finished second with the Alfa 147.
The 147
Superproduction has already won this year the Italian Superproduction
Championship in the hands of another ETCC Honda regular, Salvatore Tavano, while
third went to Adriano de Micheli, who also drove the Bigazzi Alfa Romeo 156GTA
at Monza, in the final ETCC race. Rounding off three Alfa 147 pilots finishing
in the top four in Italian Superproduction, Christian Passuti, clinched fourth.
The 49th Macau Grand Prix in
China will be run from the 13th to the 16th of November. |
