Twenty two of the N-Technology developed Alfa 147 Challenge cars took to the grid at Assen for the opening round of the Pearle Challenge, which had moved onto the 147 model this year after three seasons running the 156. Former Eurosport commentator Allard Kalff led the race from lights to flag, crossing the line 4 seconds ahead of reigning champion, Boy Zentveldt.
