The first auto show to
take place in the 2005 calendar year, the Los Angeles Auto
Show, is a heavily attended, enthusiast orientated
spectacular, and for Maserati it is a key opportunity to
present their ever-growing range.
Located in downtown Los Angeles, just down the road from the
famed studios of Hollywood, the trade centre will, from
7th-16th January, be filled as usual with the latest and
greatest from the world's major carmakers.
Next year's edition, now taking place in little more than a
couple of weeks time, will be used by Maserati to showcase
its host of exciting new vehicles, including the
long-awaited Quattroporte high-performance sedan, and racy
new GranSport, the latter which will be making its official
public debut in the USA.
Also present in Los Angeles will be the 90th Anniversary
Spyder, a limited production version of the standard
convertible, featuring a new paint scheme and carbon
bodyparts, which was first revealed in September amid
celebrations to mark the firm's first nine decades.
The focus will then switch to the North American
International Motor Show in Detroit, were
Maserati will once again
have a very strong presence. This event, which is arguably
the most important motor show in the whole of North America,
overlaps with the Los Angeles event, as it opens its doors
to the public on 12th January.
