Today was the third serious day of testing this week for
the Reparto Corse Maserati at the Fiorano circuit.
After a breather in the test program yesterday allowed Ferrari's Formula One
pairing Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello to get behind the wheel of the
MC12, today it was once again the turn of Andrea Bertolini.
The Ferrari-Maserati Group’s sports test driver ran another long day with
136 laps eventually completed. The Italian posted a best time of 1:11.843
during the course of the day.
Development of the car will continue tomorrow, again at Fiorano, with Bertolini
driving.
