Other Italian winners included the Maserati Quattroporte in
the 'Best Imported Luxury Category' with 34.5 pct of the
vote, placing it well ahead of the Bentley Continental
Flying Spur and the Lexus LS430. The Alfa 159 (with 19.4 pct
of the vote) came top of its segment in the 'Best Imported'
category, ahead of the Toyota Avenis and Mazda 6, while the
Alfa 147 and Fiat Grande Punto were placed third in their
respective categories. Other winners included the Mini,
Toyota Yaris, VW Golf, BMW 3-series, Porsche 911 Carrera,
Renault Espace, Audi Q7 and Volvo XC 90.
Amedeo Felisa, Ferrari's Vice Direttore Generale, collected
both awards at the prize giving ceremony, which was held in
Germany on the evening of 22nd November.
