For the
third year in a row, the Alfa Club Slovenia is organising an
annual "tourist rally", the 3rd Toti Rejli.
Following the success of the first two meetings the club has
decided to move rally from the Štajerska region to the
capital city, and its surrounding areas. During both of the
previous meetings more than 70 Alfa Romeo cars, from the
latest models such as the Alfa 156 Crosswagon Q4 to 'oldtimers'
like the Giulia and Duetto, took part and this year
expectations are high.
The start of
this year's edition - the 3rd Toti Rejli - will take
place in the Capital City, Ljubljana. We will follow the
road to the technical museum in Bistra, and the final event
will be held at the former military base in Logatec. We
expect around 70 Alfa Romeos from Slovenia, Croatia and
Italy to take part. During the final event we are preparing
a display of new breed of Alfa Romeo: the Alfa 159, 159
Sportwagon and Brera, as well as a line-up of old-timer
Alfas, including the GTV6, Gulia, GT junior and 75 America.
There will also be an exhibition of pictures of old Alfas
which will be given away as lottery prizes and of course
there will be plenty of good traditional Slovenian food and
drinks.
The Alfa Club
Slovenia was formed in the year 2004. It all started as
internet forum where Slovenian Alfa Romeo enthusiast started
to gather. Eventually the idea of founding our own Alfa
Romeo club was brought up. First small meetings of around
5-15 cars were held in capital city Ljubljana. As more
members joined the club, the bigger the meetings grew. The
first large meeting was the "tourist rally", called the
Toti Štajerski Rejli, which has already become a
traditional annual event. This year’s will be the third
staging in a row. The Club is also organizing four smaller
and two bigger events during this year calendar. We also
have a club boutique where members can buy clothes and
souvenirs embalmed with club signs. The club has strong
support of partners (car parts shops, Alfa Romeo dealers,
etc), which participate in the events and also offer
discounts to members of the club. Today the Club has swelled
to 100 members.
As mentioned
earlier the biggest event of the Alfa Club Slovenia's year
is "tourist rally" called the Toti Rejli. The event
is based around exploring our beautiful country and its many
great sights. A fundamental plan for the first rally was to
make the event unique, different from the regular classic
car meetings.

We always give deep thought to the technical culture of
Slovenia and the nation's culture in general. The
destinations include museums, technology museums and
castles, all of which are really unique settings for
automotive events in Slovenia. The first two rallies were
held in the Štajerska region, but for this year's third
traditional meeting we have decided to move the event to the
capital and its surroundings. Some of the interesting Alfa
Romeo’s attending our meetings range from the newer 145,
147, 147 GTA, 156 GTA, GTV’s and Spider’s, to the older 33,
75 ,155, and finally the beautiful old-timers including the
Duetto, Giulia, Sprint and GTV 6.
The 1st Toti
Štajerski Rejli, started in Slovenska Bistrica. We
visited the historic castle at Štatenberg where we had a
great wine tasting session. The road the led to a beautiful
church in Ptujska gora. The conclusion of this inaugural
rally was held on mountain Boč. The start of the 2nd Toti
Štajerski Rejli was in Celje, and we continued to
Rogaška slatina, location of the Rogaška spa where we had a
tour around the historic spa. The conclusion of the rally
was held in ethnologic museum in Rogatec.
This year's event, the 3rd Toti Rejli will take place
on Sunday 3rd September, with the participants gathering at
Dolgi Most (Ljubljana) at 0900 before the programme gets
underway with a late morning visit to the National Technical
Museum at Bisra. For more information on taking part please
