The
Brazilian city of Campo Grande was the ultimate
destination of the fourth edition of the Fiat
Adventure Tour. which sees Adventure model customers
using their cars in the most demanding of conditions. After passing through the
cities of Belo Horizonte, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro,
the Fiat Adventure Tour arrived in the city of
Campo Grande, the capital of the Mato Grosso do Sul
region at the last end of week.
The expedition saw more than 150
participants taking part, the adventurers divided into
47 vehicles, all of which were drawn from the
"Adventure" series branded family: the Doblò, Palio and
Strada models, being joined by the most recent addition
to the rugged, off-road specific range, the Fiat Idea
Adventure, while - like the other vehicles - showed a
great deal of versatility and character right along the
full length of the difficult route.
The Fiat Adventure Tour convoy
covered 146 kilometers in total and crossed the Mountain
range of Maracajú, a place that even today is
still little explored, and through Furnas do Dionísio
a very old colony where today the descendents of
original slaves still live.
