The Maserati GranSport MC Victory is
currently one of the main attractions of the International
Motor Show Beijing, AutoChina, which opened to the public on
Saturday, November 18th. The GranSport MC Victory, is
being produced in a limited edition run of just 180 units,
to celebrate the brand winning the Constructors’ Title in
the 2005 FIA GT Championship. Available only in Maserati's
racing blue livery it has a number of features that set it
aside from the regular GranSport model, include carbon-fibre
spoiler additions. It is on display in Beijing together with
the Pininfarina-built Birdcage 75th concept car, making its
Chinese debut at the show.
At the same time Maserati is developing rapidly on the
Chinese market where sales figures in the first ten months
of 2006 have gone up 65 percent compared to the same period
in 2005. Maserati has been present in China since the summer
of 2004. Over the last two years, the Trident brand has
consolidated its presence in China by opening eleven
dealerships in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai,
Hangzhou and Guangzhou.

Meanwhile a wonderful Maserati-branded event has been held to
celebrate the launch of the new D&G fragrance The One
in Bulgaria. The prestigious party which took place
in Maserati’s plush Sofia showroom attracted more than 100
personally invited guests, with numerous personalities from
show business and the local jet set present. "Like a true diva,"
D&G say, "The One is sensual, seductive and
spectacular. The fragrance can be describes as Oriental Floral, with a strong
personality and a contrasting golden sweetness," they add.
Just like every other Maserati event, the launch of the new
D&G fragrance had an elegant and exclusive atmosphere.
