Autodelta is pleased to introduce the 156 Granturismo
aerodynamic bodystyling kit designed for the facelift Alfa
Romeo 156 model (2003-2006), an enhancement which has been
inspired by the multiple touring car championship-winning
					Alfa 156 S2000 racers.
This brand-new bodykit has been created by Autodelta’s
design team in order to improve the Alfa Romeo 156’s already
very highly-regarded visual appearance. It carefully adds
‘in your face’ aggression to one of the most stunning
sports-saloons to be introduced during the last decade,
enhancing designer Giorgetto Giugiaro’s gorgeous, award-winning lines
but also most importantly without loosing any of their
of their flawless and timeless appeal.

The 156 Granturismo kit also draws inspiration from
our popular ‘GTA Racing’ bodystyling kit (for the Alfa 156
GTA model), which they first introduced with the launch of
the Autodelta 156 GTA AM in mid-2004. This, in turn, was
directly evolved from the styling of the aerodynamic aids
used on the FIA European and World Touring Car
					Championship race-winning Alfa 156 racers.

The ‘SuperTouring 2000’ Alfa 156 has become one of Alfa
Romeo’s most successful touring car racers in the Milanese
brand’s long and illustrious history, and has rightly taken
its place amongst a pantheon of greats which includes the
					1750 GTAm of the 1970s and the DTM-winning 155 V6 Ti from
the 1990s. In the hands of Fabrizio Giovanardi (2002) and
Gabriele Tarquini (2004), the Alfa 156 beat the mighty
factory BMW runners to claim the FIA European Touring Car
Championship crown, and this year it is still in the thick
of the action during the second edition of the FIA World
Touring Car Championship as part of a three-car team.

The 156 Granturismo bodykit can also be fitted to the
pre-facelift Alfa 156 (up to 2003), provided the front
grille, bonnet and headlights are changed for the later
Giugiaro-styled version. The kit will be available for
worldwide delivery from 21st August, or it can be fitted at
their London headquarters or by any of their authorised
					dealers. |
