					Now homologated
for Australia and under the control of a new distributor,
Supercar Investments, Pagani’s Zonda Roadster is on display
this week at the Melbourne Motor Show.  Following the
collapse of the previous importer, Motor Group Australia,
after the failure of its MG-Rover franchise due to the
bankruptcy of the parent company in the UK, the Zonda has
had a somewhat troubled ride in Australia, although these
problems should now be well behind it.

					Indeed, the
homologation process in order to prepare the car for sale
here has taken two years, and has included the fitment of a
third brake light, as well as the removal of the
low-mounted, high-intensity driving lamps positioned in the
front bumper in accordance with Australian road
regulations. Until now, the car has not been able to be sold
in this market; however, with the Zonda F, Roadster and
Zonda S now available, Supercar Investments is aiming to
sell two examples of the car per year, at an asking price of
					around AUS$1.2 million.
