Ferrari GB was
again on the podium last weekend during the Ferrari Racing
Days at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.
Ross Kaiser the leading driver in the Ferrari Challenge
Dealer Team GB fought a tough battle to take third place in the Trofeo
Pirelli in his F430 Challenge car.
The annual Ferrari Racing Days bring together
Ferrari owners and fans in a sporting weekend with Shell
Historic cars, 18 Ferrari Formula 1 cars and the largest
gathering of Ferrari FXX cars in Europe this year. Around
400 Ferrari owners brought their road cars to the Spa
circuit in sweltering temperatures and saw wheel to wheel
racing in the 3rd round of the European Ferrari
Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. Spa-Francorchamps is a favourite circuit
of many Ferrari drivers and in particular the challenge of
the Eau Rouge section which requires skill and bravery in
equal measure, and in both the Trofeo Pirelli and Coppa
Shell the drivers had to fight for every place.

Ross Kaiser (car 27) maintained his 100%
record of podium finishes at each round of the championship,
but it was a disappointing weekend for Christian Passuti and
Lorenzo Casè (car 29) who were unable to repeat the
fantastic winning form at Valencia but still brought home
valuable points for the team. In the Coppa Shell, Geoff
Farmer (car 103) again continued to move through the field
climbing from 13th in qualifying in race 2 to finish 11th.
Borislav Maletić (car 89) had a challenging weekend with the
rain in the second race but continues to develop and has
scored points in every race this year. The weather played a
pivotal role in the Coppa Shell as the infamous Spa weather
intervened and brought thunder, lightning and heavy rain for
the second race.
Massimo Fedeli Managing Director of
Ferrari GB said ‘Spa-Francorchamps is a legendary venue
and Ross Kaiser showed real skill in driving to a podium
finish against such strong competition. It was a fantastic
weekend for our guests who joined us from throughout Europe
with many Ferrari owners driving across to Belgium from the
UK for the ultimate luxury lifestyle racing weekend. The
Ferrari Challenge Dealer Team GB will now start preparations
for the next round in Monza in July.’
