"In the last few
years the demand for financial services when acquiring cars
has increased significantly, both nationally and
internationally," declared Ferrari CEO Jean Todt. "In the
case of our clients this is owed to a desire to manage their
funds more efficiently. We are thus proud to be able to
offer Ferrari purchasers a range of high quality services
designed especially for the unique products offered by the
Prancing Horse. Ferrari Financial Services can be used to
purchase both new cars and pre-owned cars with special Power
warranties as well as competition cars, Ferrari-certified
historic cars, and Formula 1 single-seaters from the last
couple of years."
Jean Todt's statement above sums up the motivation behind
Ferrari's setting up of Ferrari Financial Services, a
Prancing Horse-controlled finance company with a unique and
particularly exclusive function. The range of services
offered by Ferrari Financial Services is available for all
types of Ferraris from new road-going models to pre-owned
cars, historic cars with a high collectors' value, GT
competition cars, and even the Formula 1 single-seaters the
company sells to collectors around two years after their
retirement from racing. As a unique service, a very direct
relationship with each client will be established by
dedicated personal consultants, contacting the clients
before they take delivery of their car and offering the most
suitable solutions for their particular requirements.
