For its latest branded product Ferrari has teamed up with Technogym to create unique a 'home gym' which offers over 25 different exercises. The Ferrari Unica comes in the most traditional Prancing Horse colours, colours that have adorned thousands of Ferraris and helped make them instantly recognisable throughout the world. The leather trim of its padding is beige, just like classic Ferrari interiors, while the gym frame is Racing Red, the definitive Maranello colour. Other subtle details that recall the company’s GT cars include F50-style wheels to assist shifting the gym in the home and Prancing Horse logos to both the frame and leather trim.

The Ferrari Unica was designed in-house by a team of training experts at the Technogym Research Centre. Their aim was to provide the most complete range of training exercises possible in a compact, easy-to-use format for an ideal, all-round fitness training programme at home.The innovative design called for equally avant-garde manufacturing processes and a highly-skilled workforce. Just like the cars themselves, the frames of the Ferrari Unica gym are subject to cataphoresis anti-corrosion treatment prior to being painted for a perfect, long-lasting finish.

The Ferrari Unica was will allow the user to undertake over 25 different exercises, all guided and pre-set courtesy of the Wellness Mate computer. Specific training programmes can also be tailored to suit your needs, making it easy for even the less experienced to use.
 

The gym machine arrives complete with a key card on which the client’s own physical data and training programme are already installed. Thanks to the Net Trainer and a specific kit which can be installed on your computer via a serial port, clients can update their individual programme on-line, transferring the new data onto the key card for insertion in the Wellness Mate.

The aim of this personal gym is to develop both muscle tone and flexibility, whilst also allowing you to work any specific muscle groups you feel require particular attention. The Ferrari Unica targets every part of the body - arms, shoulders, pecs, dorsals, abs, legs and calf muscles – courtesy of a wide range of movements, such as extension, flexion, adduction and traction exercises. The Ferrari Unica was also designed to be compact enough for home use. In fact, when in use, it is just 1.6 m wide, folding to a mere 1.2 for storage. It stands 2.07 high and is 1.84 long. The Ferrari Unica weighs 150 kg plus a 90 kg set of chrome weights. For maximum ease of use, the gym comes complete with a co-ordinated range of instructions and maintenance features.
