Ferrari has
landed in Spain with the opening of a new Ferrari Store, at
the El Prat international airport of Barcelona. The Scuderia
Ferrari test driver Marc Genè, Giulio Zauner - Responsible
for the Ferrari West Europe branches, Emanuele Sacerdote -
Head of sales & retail at Ferrari and José Gabriel Martin -
CEO of Areas (the franchising partner of the house with the
Prancing Horse for this new store), took part in the opening
ceremony.
On a space of about 40 sq m enthusiasts of the brand can now
find a selection of the whole product range of the Prancing
Horse, dedicated to the Formula One fans, Granturismo cars
lovers, but also to children and collectors.
The Ferrari Store in Barcelona is the first store in Europe
(except the ones in Italy) and the 16th worldwide. It is
also the sixth store built within the structure of an
international airport. With more than 30 million air
passengers passing through Barcelona airport every year, the
airport is the perfect location for the new Ferrari store,
which will become a privileged destination for thousands of
passionate Ferraristi and fans of the "Reds" from Maranello
throughout the world.
Spain is an important market for the Prancing Horse
regarding the competition (that this year also was able to
win the Spanish GP, courtesy of Felipe Massa) but also as
far as car sales, which are constantly increasing, are
concerned.
