| The Spider version of the
recently introduced Diablo-replacing Lamborghini Murcielargo is suffering
delays in bringing it to production. Originally expected during the course
of next year, factory insiders now estimate a 2004 launch date.
This is partially due to
concentration on Lamborghini's first medium-size sportscar, codename L140,
which is close to production and also a higher than expected order book
for the roofed Murcielargo which started to roll off the production lines
earlier this year. |
