Fiat have denied newspaper
reports that they are considering hiring former Ford CEO, Jac Nasser, to
turnaround the loss-making car division, saying that the rumours have "no
substance whatsoever". The reports state that Jac Nasser, who was pushed
out at Ford late last year, had visited Fiat's Turin HQ several times during
August.
Meanwhile, earlier this week in an interview, Fiat CEO Paolo Fresco admitted that if the loss making auto division was not turned around by 2004, the remaining 80% would be sold to General Motors. |

Two little known Italian
Supercar manufacturers have recently raised the profile of their current
models, generating public interest and sales enquiries.
Pagani's Zonda C12S is a Mercedes-Benz powered exclusive supercar built in Modena, now in its fourth year of production. The Edonis is based on the Bugatti EB 110, and built at the Bugatti factory by a team of mainly ex-Bugatti employees. A production run of twenty one cars will eventually be built. |
