The new Alfa Romeo 147 GTA has made its UK debut at the British International Motor Show in Birmingham, England. The 250 bhp 24v 3.2-litre engined hot hatch was represented by a red version mounted on a round plinth at the forefront of the Alfa Romeo stand.

The 147 GTA goes on sale in Italy in December, but visitors to the Birmingham show will have to wait until next July before a limited batch of around 300-400 of this performance model start to arrive in the UK.
