12.09.2003 FIRST MAJOR PUBLIC APPEARANCE FOR THE RESTYLED ALFA ROMEO 156 IN FRANKFURT

The Frankfurt Motor Show has seen the first major appearance for the recently facelifted Alfa Romeo 156. The highly successful saloon has been given a mid-life cosmetic overhaul, the job entrusted to Giorgetto Guigaro, designer of the original car. The 156 has now received the new 'family'-style front grille as well as new headlamps and a deeper reprofiled front bumper. At the rear the changes have been kept to a minimum, the tail light cluster has been tweaked, while new reflectors are positioned in the bumper.
