24.05.2003 MASERATI QUATTROPORTE OFFERS FIRST GLIMPSE OF LUXURY INTERIOR
Maserati's new Quattroporte
super-luxury saloon throws up its first glimpses of the interior. Due to
be launched in the autumn at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Quattroporte
4-door saloon will be powered by a version of the Coupe and Spyder's 4.25-litre
V8 engine increased to 5.0-litres. In these photos the wood and leather
finish is clearly visible.
Available only with Maserati's 'Cambiocorsa' F1-style gear selection, the Quattropote is hotly tipped to be the first recipient of the new four wheel drive traction system currently under development. The Frank Stephenson led-project aims to take the Mercedes-Benz S-Class head on, while in 2005 a 'Royal' Limousine version will boasted the Ferrari Enzo's 6.0-litre V12 engine. |
