Belgian Fiat
Auto dealership, the Italian Automotive Center, have just
inaugurated their fourth retail complex, this time located
in the Drogenbos district of Brussels, with a glamorous
fashion show and champagne party. This latest dealership
comes after a busy year of rapid expansion for the Italian
Automotive Center (IAC) which saw their third showroom being
opened
on the west side of Belgium's cosmopolitan capital city,
which catered for the Fiat and Lancia brands
This new authorised dealership is situated on Grote Baan in
Drogenbos, which is on the south side of Brussels and with
cover all three of the major Fiat Auto brands: Alfa Romeo,
Fiat and Lancia. For the IAC the location is perfect as the
Grote Baan is really the one place in the city where it is a
must to be represented by a new dealership, as all the main
European automotive brands are now represented in an area
not much bigger in size than just a few square kilometres
and which allows potential buyers to browse in a timely
manner. The area has proved very popular with buyers in a
thriving city that is home to a variety of leading
organisations including the European Commission and to the
Council of Ministers of the European Union (EU), the North
Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) as well as being the
Supreme Headquarters of Allied Planning Europe (SHAPE).
For the opening
evening the IAC organised a glamorous fashion show, which
was in collaboration with Donaldson, a leading Belgian
company that manufacturers and distributes clothing under a
Walt Disney licence. The IAC team always put on a glitzy
event, and this one was to be no different. In fact more
that five hundred guests attended the fashion show which was
followed by a champagne buffet.

This new
dealership in Drogenbos will boost our new vehicle sales by
a planned 840 units during 2007," says David Leeson, the
Italian Automotive Center's Fleet & LCV Manager, "and almost
completes our planned enveloping presence of the Brussels
region.
"We were
particularly honoured to have a visit during the evening's
proceedings from Nicola Wagner, the General Manager of the
Fiat Center Italia S.p.A., who flew in especially from Turin
for our event," comments David. The Fiat Center Italia is
the umbrella organisation that looks after the "owned
authorised dealerships" within Fiat's Auto Division; which
includes the IAC, but also the the sparkling new Mirafiori
Motor Village retail complex in Turin, which is the absolute
new "jewel in the crown" for Fiat Auto and a plush,
fashionable venue that is the precursor of new ideas and
initiatives which will be realised across the Europe-wide
dealer network.
