Maserati have revealed the
first official images of the Quattroporte super-luxury saloon ahead of
its world premiere later this year, along with the following brief information:

"This car represents a new interpretation of the high performance Italian
luxury saloon, a segment created by Maserati with the first Quattroporte
in 1963. Pininfarina’s masterful styling is matched by a powerful 400 bhp
V8, an extraordinarly spacious cabin, and the possibility of personalising
the car right down to the smallest detail. The car’s dimensions are 5052
mm length, 1895 mm width, 1438 mm height, and 3064 mm wheelbase."
Meanwhile the Quattroporte
is expected to be progressively offered with the following engines:
2003 5.0 V8 460hp and
540Nm (RWD & 4WD at the launch later this year)
2004 4.2 V8 390hp
and 451Nm (RWD & 4WD)
2004 6.0 V12 560hp
and 650Nm (RWD)
2004 4.2 V8 multijet
305cv and 650Nm (RWD & 4WD)
