As Fiat and PSA present their new light commercial vehicles at the Sevel Nord plant, the French facility has seen a 440 million euro investment in the production lines, workshops, a new supply chain and improved ergonomics

"Dedicated cooperation ventures allow us to share costs and increase volumes for clearly identified projects, while enabling both partners to maintain their independence," said PSA CEO Jean-Martin Folz at the Fiat Ducato X250 launch

Since 1978 co-operation between the Fiat Group and the PSA at the Sevel plant in Italy has offered a blend of engineering and manufacturing know-how that places it at the cutting edge of European light commercial vehicles

"This partnership, which started 28 years ago, is recognized by carmakers, the financial community and the press as an exemplary collaborative relationship," said Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne during the Ducato X250 launch
